Eco Plumbers Reviews: The Good, The Bad, and the Complaints

Eco-Plumbers-Reviews-What-Homeowners-Should-Know-1
When your plumbing fails, choosing the right company suddenly becomes a high-stakes decision. Most homeowners turn to online reviews to help make that choice. But when you see hundreds or even thousands of reviews across Google, Angi, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Facebook, and other platforms, it can be difficult to know what they actually tell you about a company. At Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians, we’ve served thousands of homeowners and have accumulated a large number of public reviews across many platforms. Over time, clear patterns have emerged in what customers consistently praise, what concerns occasionally arise, and how our team responds when things don’t go perfectly. In this article, we’ll break down what real homeowners are saying in Eco Plumbers reviews, the common themes you’ll notice across review sites, how our team handles negative feedback, and what you should understand before deciding if Eco Plumbers is the right company for your home.

What Our Plumbing Reviews Commonly Highlight

When homeowners leave reviews about our plumbing services, certain themes show up again and again. While every service call is different, the feedback tends to center around how we show up, how we communicate, and how we handle some of the most common plumbing issues.

Professionalism in Your Home

One of the most consistent themes you’ll see in our plumbing reviews is professionalism. When someone calls us, it’s usually because something has gone wrong with their home’s plumbing and there’s already stress involved. Our job isn’t just to fix the plumbing issue; it’s to make the experience smooth, respectful, and predictable from start to finish. Eco Plumbers Reviews: The Good, The Bad, and the Complaints blog. A Google Review from Khadija, "5-Stars, Hayder was professional and polite, and did an outstanding job. Services, Sump pump repair." A review from Ilene Romney, "5-Stars, Abdias was informative, friendly and reassuring. Tub was clogged. Got the job done quickly and professionally so fast. Thank you Abdias. All is well." A review from Dustin Hines, "5-Stars, Cecil from Eco Plumbers did an excellent job. He was professional, punctual, and clearly knew what he was doing. He took the time to explain the issue and the solution in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. The work was completed efficiently and everything was left clean afterward. It's not always easy finding someone you trust to work in your home, but Cecil made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend Cecil and Eco Plumbers to anyone needing reliable plumbing work. Services, Drain cleaning." We understand that inviting a plumbing technician into your home requires trust. That’s why we treat your home the way we would want our own to be treated. Fixing the issue properly and leaving your space cleaner than we found it.

Water Heater Expertise

If you spend a few minutes browsing our reviews, you’ll quickly notice that water heater repair and replacement are mentioned often. That’s because hot water issues are one of the most common plumbing calls we receive. A review from Sam Crunkliton, "5-stars. Most professional water heater installation I have ever had with a high quality industrial made in USA lp 40 tall water heater. Services, Water heater installation." A review from Christopher Igodan, "5-stars. David did a great job putting in a water heater for our home, he was good at explaining the new unit and was very kind. Thank you! Service, Water heater installation." A review from John Petrucci, "5-stars. Received many texts and emails about the service time and the technician, Will Lewis-Griggs. Even receieved a photo of Will, so we knew who to look for. Will came in and analyzed the situation. He had our two hot water tanks flushed and ready to go in just about one hour. Sent us a number of photos and a short video showing what he'd done. Will is a true, caring professional. We're an ECO customer for life! Will recommend Eco Plumbers to our friends and family. Thanks! Positive, responsiveness, punctuality, quality, professionalism, value. Services, drain cleaning." Because we work on water heaters every single day, our team is highly experienced in diagnosing problems quickly and walking homeowners through the next steps. Whether it’s a minor repair or a full replacement, we focus on helping you understand your options clearly without pressure.

Clear Explanations and Options

Another theme you’ll see across our reviews is communication. Plumbing can feel overwhelming if you’re not familiar with what’s happening behind the walls or under the floor. We believe homeowners deserve clarity. Whenever possible, we present multiple solutions so you can choose what fits your home, timeline, and budget. A review from Louise Annarino, "ECO plumbing representative Bradley Nuesmeyer anticipated my every question and concern and gave an honest, detailed and pragmatic assessment leading to a very competitive price for repair of my sewer line. He also showed me the value of a membership which paid for itself considering my current needs. Bradley went above and beyond to find the best solution. Great company to work with, solid commitment to do things right. Bravo, Bradley Neusmeyer and ECO Plumbing. I would like to add that Jordan Jones and his crew overcame unexpected challenges while repairing my sewer line. Jordan kept me informed with detailed explanations as the day progressed. The three members worked as well-oiled team as Jordan made sure each move was appropriate. They were meticulous. The job is still ongoing. The delay caused by waiting for an inspector. But, Jordan made certain I knew the why and how things would proceed. Honesty, diligence, attention to detail and strong communication skills eased my concerns. Well done! Services, Sewer repair." A review from Charleta B Tavares. "The Technician, Mustafa Alazzawi was thoughtful, knowledgeable and explained what had happened with my Sump Pump. He went over the options and shared advantages of each. He is a 3rd Generation plumber... excellent." A review from Marianne Collins, "Great technician! Explained everything. Very friendly. Very experienced! Extremely happy with him and his work! Services, Sump pump installation." We believe informed homeowners make confident decisions. And confident decisions lead to better long-term outcomes for your home.

What You May Also See in Our Reviews

While many reviews highlight positive experiences, you may also come across critical feedback. That’s true for any company that serves a large number of homeowners each year. No service business gets everything right 100% of the time. We believe it’s important to acknowledge that openly. What matters most isn’t whether negative feedback exists, but how a company responds to it. We take every review seriously, especially the ones that point out areas where we can improve.

Pricing Concerns

When concerns appear in reviews, they are most often related to pricing expectations. Plumbing problems can sometimes be more complex than they first appear, and what begins as a small issue can reveal a larger underlying problem once the system is inspected. Because of that, transparency is extremely important to us. We want homeowners to feel confident about the decisions they make before any work begins, and after the work is completed. Buyers remorse is something people experience occasionally after making a larger purchase, regardless of what it is. A review from Cindi Dearth, "1-Star, I would have left a negative star review if possible. 10/27/2025 had an appointment for a wax ring replacement. It was an emergency situation, or I never, NEVER, would have agreed to the price. More than $375.00 for 25 minutes work. Please do yourself a favor and find a different, affordable, plumber. Services, Toilet repair" A review from Tom V, "1-star. I contacted ECO to have them replace my jammed garbage disposal with a brand new one that I already had. "Jansen," the plumber they sent did a great job with the installation and I'm happy with his service. But my issue is that the price Eco charges to install a new disposal is obscenely high. I had to pay $540 just for 90 minutes of the time that it took to install the new disposal. Yes, Jansen did give me tell me it would be $540 before he started work, but by then he was already onsite. I also asked Jansen what the cost would be for Eco to install two new sink faucets in my Master bathroom which I'm thinking of doing in the future. He quoted me $500 PER FAUCET! A plumber I used less than a year ago to install a new toilet told me that he would charge $100 per faucet. I'll never use Eco for service again, not because they don't do good work but because they charged twice as much or more than other plumbing service providers that I've used recently." A review from Chino Crouch, "1-star. Wanted me to pay over $1100 for a main shut off valve replacement when the valve cost $125 So that’s almost 1000% mark up in labor cost TF? Ended up doing it myself and saved hundreds of dollars At Least they did a Free estimate Buyer Beware. Services, plumbing leak repair." We use upfront pricing so you know the investment before work starts. At the same time, we know that clear communication is essential. If anything about the scope or price isn’t fully clear, we always want homeowners to ask so we can walk through it together.

BBB Complaints and Resolutions

You may also see formal complaints listed through the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The BBB tracks customer concerns and whether businesses respond and resolve them. As a company that services thousands of homes each year and maintains an A+ rating with the BBB, we do occasionally receive complaints. While we never want a homeowner to feel dissatisfied, what matters most to us is how those situations are handled. Initial Complaint Date: 09/22/2025 Type: Product Issues Status: Resolved We are requesting a $280 refund for reasons given in original submission. See attached invoice for this maintenance plan or membership charge. Thanks for your assistance. [Blurred text] Customer Answer Date: 09/22/2025 This company advertises a free clearing of a drain as part of their maintenance package. We had that done. A week later when that sewer drain backed up and we complained, they told us its a couple hundred dollars to clean, because a clearing is not a cleaning. In the meantime they tried to upsell us on hydro jetting the system to clean it or putting a liner in for $3000 more than a [Blurred text] utable company will do it for. They are using the maintenance plan as an opportunity to upsell us on stuff we may not need that costs more than an honest competitor. I would like a refund of the $280 for the so-called maintenance plan which is merely a means for them to peddle more products. Ive asked three separate times for a customer service [Blurred text] to call and no one has. Business Response (Eco Plumbing) Date: 09/23/2025 Dear [Blurred text], Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. To clarify, our complimentary drain clearing is designed to restore flow using 12 passes of a cable. Because of limitations in pipe access and blade size, the clearing only opens a passage as wide as the blades being used. For example, if a 6-inch sewer line only allows 3-inch blade access, then only 3 inches of the line can be cleared, leaving portions of the obstruction behind. After clearing, we run a camera to get a visual of the line so we can provide customers with a complete picture of the condition of their system. Since sewer lines are not designed to back up, our goal is always to provide long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes. We regret that you did not feel you received that level of service. Our manager, [Blurred text], was happy to speak to [Blurred text] regarding the concerns. Per your request, we have canceled your [Blurred text] Membership and refunded the $280 to your MasterCard. You will also receive a refund receipt via email from our finance team for your records. Please allow 710 business days, depending on your financial institution, for the funds to reflect in your account. We understand we may not be the right company for everyone, but we remain committed to providing expert evaluations at no charge and no obligation. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the best moving forward. When concerns arise, our goal is to listen, respond, and work toward a fair resolution whenever possible. Every piece of feedback, whether it’s positive or negative, helps us improve our processes, communication, and overall service experience. Accountability and continuous improvement are important parts of how we operate, and reviews play a key role in helping us get better over time.

What Makes Our Plumbing Services Different

While reviews often focus on individual service calls, they do also reflect the larger systems and standards behind our work. Over time, homeowners tend to notice a few key things about how we operate and what makes our approach to plumbing different.

One-Call Convenience

One thing that sets us apart is that we provide plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services. Many home issues aren’t limited to a single system, and problems can often cross between trades. For example, we may encounter situations like
  • A tankless water heater requires both plumbing and electrical upgrades, like a dedicated electrical circuit or outlet upgrades, and updated gas lines.
  • A basement with frequent humidity and musty odors could be from a leak or drainage issues, and a dehumidifier or improved ventilation could help resolve it.
  • A sump pump installation or replacement that might need a properly installed outlet, backup power options, or an upgrade of your discharge drain lines with excavation.
Because our teams work together across these specialties, we’re often able to diagnose and resolve problems more efficiently. Homeowners frequently appreciate not having to coordinate multiple contractors.

Licensed and Trained Technicians

Another difference homeowners often notice is the professionalism and knowledge of the technicians who arrive at their home. Skilled plumbing work comes from consistent training, hands-on experience, and a commitment to learning the trade the right way. Our plumbers are trained professionals who follow company standards for service, safety, and communication. We also invest heavily in ongoing education to keep our team up to date on evolving plumbing technologies and best practices. Part of that commitment is The Eco Plumbers University (Eco U), our in-house training program that combines classroom learning, hands-on lab work in a simulated home environment, and real-world field experience alongside more experienced plumbers. Even technicians who have been in the field for many years come back to Eco U for continuous training on new technologies. This approach helps ensure that when our technicians recommend a solution, it is based on current knowledge, proven methods, and real field experience.

Focus on Long-Term Solutions

While we handle emergency plumbing calls every day, our goal is always to provide solutions that last. A quick fix might solve the immediate problem, but we also want homeowners to understand what caused the issue in the first place. That’s why our technicians offer preventative maintenance recommendations, explain root causes and not just the current symptoms, install reliable, high-quality fixtures and systems, and stand behind our work with warranties and guarantees. Our goal isn’t just to complete a repair. It’s to help ensure your plumbing system continues to run long after the service visit is complete.

How Homeowners Can Get the Best Experience With Us

A great plumbing experience often starts before the technician even arrives. Clear communication and a shared understanding of the problem help us diagnose issues faster and provide the best possible solutions for your home. If you’re considering Eco for plumbing services, here are a few simple steps to help ensure a smooth, successful visit.
  • Be as specific as possible when scheduling. If you can describe what you’re seeing (leaks, unusual noises, loss of water pressure, inconsistent hot water, etc.), it helps us prepare and send the right technician with the right tools.
  • Ask about your options. Many plumbing problems can be solved in more than one way. We’re always happy to walk through repair and replacement options so you can choose what makes the most sense for your home and budget.
  • Review warranty and service details. We’ll explain what work is being performed, what’s covered under warranty, and what to expect moving forward so there are no surprises.
  • Speak up if something feels unclear. Transparency is important to us. If you have questions about the diagnosis, pricing, or recommended solutions, we want to talk it through with you.

What Eco Plumbers Reviews Mean for You

At the end of the day, reviews are one of the best ways to understand what you can expect when working with a plumbing company. By looking across platforms like Google, Angi, and the Better Business Bureau, you can see clear patterns in how companies treat customers, communicate during service, and handle challenges when they arise. Many companies, like ours, also have a dedicated customer care team focused on helping homeowners when concerns need to be addressed. If you’re currently dealing with a plumbing issue, it’s completely normal to rely on the experiences of other homeowners. Plumbing problems can be stressful, and knowing what others have experienced can help you feel more confident about the decision you’re making. If you’re considering Eco, the next step is to explore more about how our services work and read “What to Expect During a Plumbing Service Visit”. Learning about our process, pricing approach, and service guarantees can help you decide whether we’re the right fit for your home. At Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians, our goal is to help homeowners make informed decisions about their homes. Whether you choose our team or another provider, we believe transparent information should help guide that decision.

FAQs

When reading plumbing reviews, it’s helpful to look beyond just the star rating. Pay attention to patterns in what homeowners mention repeatedly. Do reviewers talk about professionalism, clear communication, and clean work? Do they describe how the company handled problems or unexpected issues? It’s also worth checking how responsive the company is to feedback. Do they reply to reviews, address concerns, and try to resolve issues when customers raise them? It’s also a good idea to read reviews across multiple platforms, such as Google, the Better Business Bureau, and Angi. Seeing consistent feedback across several sites can give you a clearer picture of what the overall experience is like.

Yes. Any service company that works with hundreds of thousands of homeowners will occasionally receive negative feedback. Plumbing issues can be complex, and sometimes expectations or circumstances don’t align perfectly. What matters most is how the company responds. A reputable plumbing company will acknowledge concerns, respond professionally, and work toward resolving issues when possible. Reviewing those responses can often tell you more about a company’s values than the complaint itself.

There’s no exact number, but generally, companies with a large number of reviews over time tend to provide a more reliable picture of customer experience. A plumbing company with hundreds or thousands of reviews usually serves a large number of homes each year, which means the feedback reflects many real customer interactions. Look for consistent themes over time, not just a few recent reviews, to understand what homeowners typically experience.
